Front users

Currently the Slack integration does not work with sending outbound messages (new messages, not threads) since these outbound messages are not attached to a mailbox. How can I make it so these outbound messages send to Slack?

We would like to avoid using customer mailboxes as Front suggests, but still want to view each customer’s messages on a per customer basis in our sidebar by default. How would we go about achieving this?

Can you recall an email after it was sent but the recipient has not opened the email yet? TIA

We're planning to use order number as a dynamic object. A few of the things we would like to see in that dynamic object are the product name, price, quantity. However, sometimes somebody orders 1 product and other times 2, 3, 4 or 7 products (with each having it's own name, price, qty etc.) Does that mean we’d have to make X amount of product name, product price, product quantity fields just in case someone orders more or is there a better to accomodate this?Another possible solution I was thinking about, which doesn't sound ideal either, is to make 1 field for each option and if there are more product names, prices, qty in the order to place them in the same field in Front. This will get very cramped but that should at least make it so that we can see everything, correct?Wondering if anyone has faced this issue before and if they were able to fix it. Is there a plugin for note taking?  I use the notepad on my computer for taking all of my notes for different emails and once I don’t need that note anymore I delete it...I want to be able to keep the notepad on the side panel of my inbox where the plug-ins are instead of having to go back and forth between tabs.

I need help setting up our app but don’t want or have the time to become an expert myself. 

Does anyone have suggestions or a workaround for users rating a knowledge base article (a simple 😀 or 😩) or something similar? We want to ensure that our users are finding value in the articles they are using. 

What is the best way to append a message to the end of all company signatures without updating each one manually?

Could you please assist me? Owr former COO left the firm so we changed her email address in Microsoft365  to a new email address. Our former COO  is currently added as a team member in Front but I want to edit that user and change it to the new user. how do I do this?

Hi team,We frequently use message templates to speed up workflow and give consistent and concise replies to our customers. We also use tags on every email we receive to differentiate between query types.My question is can we automate tags to be added when using a specific message template to minimize any manual interaction with these common queries we receive? Thanks!

Hi Front Reps, We are trialling your software and are finding it hard to figure out how we are best to use it as it is actually creating ALOT more work for our team Let me explain what is happening specifically. Our shared inbox, and some personal inboxes, have automations from email platforms that send email from our accounts. This is incredibly common, it saves our team dozens if not hundreds of hours a month.  For example, if a new lead comes in, a series of 10 emails get automatically sent from my inbox over the course of the next few months. If a project is completed, the request a review email gets sent. We also have a CRM that sends emails directly from Gmail and syncs with that. In front - it seems that every time one of these platforms sends an email (they do sync with my gmail inbox, and send from my gmail itself, eg: these emails send from the gmail account via api using these email automation tools so

Excited to be part of the Front community, as there’s a lot of things I love about the application.During the weekdays, we have one box the whole team uses and responds to, but a lot of the members don’t sign out, so conversations still get assigned to them.On the weekend, it’s just me and one other person taking turns managing the box, and it’s SOP to clear out 100+ emails at a time as they are “inquiries”- in other words, people asking to do a job for us, where hundreds of emails will come in, but then only one of them actually gets it, and it’s unnecessary to even respond to the others (they know that).I need to stay in open view so I see all conversations, even ones that are assigned, but when I try and close out a ton at a time, I keep getting this popup saying that the conversation is assigned to someone else, am I sure I want to close it out.I’m 100% sure that I need to close all these out every day, is there some kind of “d

I currently have a rule to move certain messages with the same subject into a new conversation, in the same inbox.This is a specific type of transactional message that’s received when customer’s complete a form. We don’t have control over the subject line, which is always the same, so they stack up in a single thread otherwise.The rule is successfully splitting up these messages. However, tagging does not seem to work.The first message of the day for this type does get tagged per what I have setup in the rule, but subsequent messages do not.I’m not sure if there’s a specific order of operations that should happen, if a separate rule can catch these “Move message to new conversation” actions, or if this is a limitation of the rule action itself.Curious to know if anyone else has run into this or if there’s a solution.
