Setting Up Automation to Individual Users

Hello! We currently have 4 account managers spread over 100+ clients. I’m curious what you may suggest as to how we can route these to the appropriate account manager? Currently the AMs monitor one singular inbox and assign the messages as appropriate, but I think if we may trigger them to automatically send to the AMs, it will help reduce our main inbox.Thoughts?

Looking for Ideas

Hello! I’ve recently ben working through the FCA certification, and I’m excited by all the different aspects of Front that are available. I’m the head of the B2B division of my company, and serve as the admin for our employees who use Front, primarily our sales and customer service teams.I’m wondering if there are any users who already use the same services that I use, and if you’ve figured out any clever context links that I could implement in my system. The most common services we receive communication from are Faire, QuickBooks, Asana, Shopify, and Dialpad Voice. If anyone has developed custom fields or context links for these services, I’d love to hear about it.Thanks in advance!

Custom Views and Tags

Hi,We work with custom views to divide inboxes because we don't have teammates for individual topics, but we have different teams for different areas. We sort these views using tags and corresponding rules. If we remove such a TAG, the conversation will, of course, immediately disappear from the view. It is then relatively difficult to find them again, e.g. to archive, reply or set another TAG.Do you have any suggestions for solutions to this? BestNina

Process for requesting information from another team

Hi there, I’m wanting to setup a workflow where our @sales team requests our @production team for a piece of information (e.g. lead time to get an order out) but I want the conversation to stay in the @sales inbox.Is there a good way to do this? Finding Front VersionMany of us, who are long-time Microsoft users, are used to using the:Help > About’ or‘File > Account > About _____’option to find the Version number of the Microsoft product they are using. How does a user accomplish this in Front?What’s NewAnother common convention used by other software is when an updated version is installed, upon relaunch, a ‘What’s New’ summary or link to same is provided. Am I missing something?

Question: How to send an email from a general email address that shows in the recipients inbox as being from a specific named person

I've received a lot of marketing emails that appear in my inbox as being from a specific person, but come from a general email address (e.g. hello@). I wonder if this can be replicated on Front - e.g. the sender will appear in recipients inboxes as a ‘Joe Bloggs’ but the email itself will be sent directly from a general email address.

Dynamic objects with conditions

Hi all, I would love to get some advice on this requirement,When a Front conversation is tagged with a specific tag, I want to be able to fetch some information in my CRM and depending on the results, I want to choose if the link should be added or not.My initial idea was to do as following : The specific tag is added to the conversation A rule is triggered to add a comment with a specific format A Dynamic object (former context links) rule will be triggered based on the matching text in the comments A specific information is fetched from ou CRM Depending on the results, I choose to add the link or not (or alternatively I update a conversation custom field which will trigger a new rule...)It seems to me that we can’t add any conditions logic inside the dynamic object setup, would anyone have a workaround idea ?I also tried to update a conversation custom field from a dynamic object fetch information result, but again, this doesn’t seem possible

Importing an exisiting knowledge base

Hello Front Community! I would like to make the most out of the Front knowledge base feature; however, I do not wish to recreate exisiting documentation. Currently, we have a knowledge base in Service Now, but it would be fantastic if we could bring that same information (If not simply make it accessible to search from from) into the Front knowledge base as a resource for our techs when assisting end users. My other concern is whether or not I have the ability to restrict the knowledge base view to ONLY our IT team. What would be the best avenue to accomplish these asks?

Business Hours option not available

Working on updating my companies Front account and settings as we transition to using Front Chat as well, and I noticed that I do not have the option for setting business hours as listed in the knowledge base. I am a company and workspace admin, however the setting is just not there when I go into analytics or inbox settings.Can someone point me in a direction I may be missing? Or is this a system issue of some kind.Thanks!

Combining Shared Inboxes Into Consolidated Channels

My group specifically had multiple shared inboxes created for our different customers that were ported into Front. Our current setup has each shared inbox routing into its own channel. I have a thought to combine certain shared inboxes that are managed by specific teams into consolidated channels. Has anyone in the Front Community had success with this?

Context Link Implementation - Order number not present in URL

Hi all!I’ve tried working with context links and I’m a bit stuck. I’m trying to build one that pulls our Shopify order page, using the order number. The format is Order #XXXXX. The main issue I’m having is that the order number appears nowhere in the URL, they seem to differ quite a lot. I’ve poked around on Shopify’s forums trying to figure out an alternative but I’m a bit stumped. Any advice would be appreciated!
