When you add an item to your email calendar will it automatically be added to your teams’ calendar and be able to be viewed just like in your email?

No, an event added to your calendar will not be automatically added to your teams’ calendar. Your teammates will be able to view your calendar if it’s been shared with them, but it will remain separate from any shared team calendars.
