Any tips on encouraging and setting expectations would be great! Also- any specific pushbacks you’ve heard and how you handled that I can prepare for! Thank you!

Hi team,  I created a rule in front. The purpose of that rule is when I send client a message (both new and current conversation) and client did not respond then front will send automated follow-up message. HiWe just plugged in Fivetran<> Front connector, and I'm checking out the schema.Not spotting any SLA data in the tables – kinda scratching my head here.I'm aiming to mirror that SLAs view in front analytics – , messages with SLAs, SLA breaches, % of SLA achievement, SLA breach time,Also would like to replicate those summary metrics for each conversation (interactions, messages sent, messages received, etc) but  can't seem to get convos to add up by conversation_ID using the messages table. Can u pls guide me here with these 2 points?Thanks!

Hi,Can admins remove participants from a conversation? It appears that each user can only unsubscribe themselves.

So to start a new whatsapp conversation (to say, e.g., alert one of our customers about a status to their property which we service) we must send out an approved template. The front api for creating a message has no such template_id field. This should be okay, because you can `https://api2.frontapp.com/message_templates/{message_template_id}` to get the message template and then just use the body. except(1) this won’t fill in the tag fields automatically from the contact; and [more importantly](2) whatsapp rejects this message because it isn’t an approved template it seems if we use the same body it isn’t necessarily the same template. How can one use the api to send a template message to start a new whatsapp conversation?

Hey! Been using Front for a bit of time now, but have been struggling with the calendar not having any to-do list add-ons. Todoist does not offer the functionality we need in that you can’t see your upcoming tasks, and snoozing emails is not exactly the same. Currently still referring to google calendar for this. Any suggestions on how others may have integrated it all in Front would be welcomed! 

When I make a call to this endpoint: https://dev.frontapp.com/reference/edit-draftI get the following error as a response from the frontapp api: `There is a new version of this draft`I don’t understand what is causing this error. What can I do? Just to clarify, the draft hasn’t been touched at all. In fact the update occur less than a second after the creation of the draft.

In the section where you want to enable other languages we still have to do all translations.  There should then be an option to add Another language which you then give a name.  Then the other features to translate all entries etc should be the same as for “supported” languages.

I would like to send data to different third-party apps such as our CRM when certain actions happen in front. For example, every time a new contact has been created updated I would like to make a POST request to our CRM to keep the data in sync. I understand that I could use the front API to pull in new contacts from time to time from these third-party tools, but I would like to push instead of pool. is there a convenient way I can do this using front?

Hello, I am trying to setup OAuth for my plugin but i am receiving this when sending request to https://app.frontapp.com/oauth/token{ error: 'invalid_client', error_description: 'Invalid OAuth Client' } What is the meaning of this response, please? 

I would love to know if/when NLP and LLMs will be available for dynamic object extraction. Currently the feature is pretty limited by the user providing an exact match, which isn’t great for a white glove customer experience.

We are using Fivetran Connector to Sync Front account data with datawarehouse. But in this sync We are not able to fetch the data of any of the outbound talks with customers in the Database, we only see the internal conversations. Fivetran confirmed it’s a permissions issues, how can we permit data to be fetched by fivetran from Our Front Account ?

We are having an issue with our widget loading and not getting notifications when a chat messages is sent to the user.We are using the frontchat widget and we are loading through a script and accessing it through a custom react component. Is there a decent way to bypass the sidebar cache when I release hotfixes to private plugins?I made a React app and it works fine for testing with our development server (Vite), but for production I precompile it to JavaScript and serve with Nginx. This works flawlessly, but when I make changes, Front doesn’t download the new code. I tried Front in a private tab and it worked fine, so as I recall I cleared the cache on my main tab and got it working there too. With the desktop client I wasn’t so lucky. Signing out or closing wasn’t enough to fix it, and I think I tried a few things in developer tools too. I had to open the hidden menu and choose Reset App Data to get it to clear. I can’t ask end users to do that whenever I make a breaking change to the backend API.Is there a way for me to do it as the developer / company admin, short of deleting the sidebar app and making a new one? I tried adding an extra parameter to the query string and that didn’t help. We are all using the desktop

I use Front on my phone quite often and one feature that’s really missing is the following. When you have Send & Snooze enabled, there is no way to Send & Archive a message on the phone in an open thread.  On desktop, you can just press CTRL + Enter. There should be an option for mobile as well.

When working with certain file names, I've noticed an issue with the 'Download attachment' endpoint. Specifically, when using this endpoint, the returned file has an incorrect name. For instance, if I send a message with the file name 'filename_MM/DD/YYYY.format' and then utilize the 'Download attachment' endpoint, the retrieved file is named 'YYYY.format' instead of the expected 'filename_MM/DD/YYYY.format'. Strangely, the file name appears correctly when using the 'Get message' endpoint to retrieve the attachment within the message.I would appreciate your guidance on identifying the cause of this discrepancy and suggestions on resolving the issue associated with the 'Download attachment' endpoint. Issue with the Load the web page through the iframe view and not update when changing the conversation in the sidebar app.

We’ve recently moved our shared outlook inboxes to Front, but we still have some emails that need to be sent directly via outlook. This is caused one large issue: Every time an email is sent via outlook, that email shows up as a new ticket in our shared Front email box.Is there anything that can be done to prevent this - somehow either not sync emails sent via outlook or automatically move those emails to the Front Archive folder?thanks!!
