Is it possible to get the default channel for a given teammate?

Hello,

 

We currently have a Front Integration using the Core APIs.  When creating drafts, we would like to use the default channel that the user is part of as per their preferences (see below screenshot)

Is there an API to get this channel for a given teammate/user?

Right now teammate preferences like this are not exposed via the API.
