My company currently uses Front to sort messaging and work flow on the front end but we’re looking to potentially leverage more of the functionality moving forward. I’ve been looking to at least utilize Dynamic Objects to make linking our incoming messages to our TMS tickets but am also looking at setting up an API integration to utilize read/write functionality from Front, similar to a couple of the examples in the “flow-and-tell” section. I’m curious if anyone has any insight into some variables that helped you decide that it was worth it to go beyond the basic Dynamic Objects and create a full blown integration.For example did you wait until a certain percentage of your total company as using front?Did you wait until you had enough data about how much more efficient Dynamic Objects made your teammates’ workflow?How much time did it take you to set up the full integration along with how many different commands with your TMS or similar software are you utilizing?

This morning a bunch of users started having messages fail with “Send Later: This message will be sent in 1 minute” then “Failed to send. Message temporarily rejected by mail server.” Frontstatus implies everything’s OK; downdetector tells me GMail’s OK. I don’t know what the issue is or what to do about it.Do you?Regards,Brian

I was recently asked how to automatically transition a Front Chat conversation into an email thread. Happy to be here - I had a question regarding the type of apps/plugins you can create using the developer platform. Long story short, our team has integrated Front’s new Chatbot builder: https://help.front.com/en/articles/2073I’m curious, if you are able to build an app that can dynamically answer based on the customer’s question/input? For instance, we would like to dynamically suggest help desk articles to the user based on their question - through an API my company already has working. Is this possible?

Sharing a quick snippet of how to build a Front Application Webhook handler in Make.com. This differs a little from handling a simple webhook call from a Front rule, as you need to perform a setup step and have your webhook respond to a challenge sent by Front’s webhook server. To start, head to Make.com and create a new Scenario with a Webhooks (Custom webhook) trigger. Click the Create a webhook button, and open up the advanced settings. Be sure to enable Get request headers; these are required in the next step. Hello. I am looking for suggestions, tried sales and sent a support ticket, but there is no reply. I would like to set up my clients as individual, siloed TEAMS. They would have full access to the other users on their team (all 50 users at a salon), 100 users on another team at an insurance company, and 5 people on another team at a dance studio for example. The idea is that the Salon would have about 50 people doing scheduling, having a shared inbox, individual google business emails etc. They could use Front, well, like Front.  But, today, when I started to set them up, I noticed a user in 1 team can see ALL of the other members of every other team, this does not seem right to me.  In fact, my client noticed it before I did and was like why do I see this person and that person, who are those people? I want to add them to MY account so I can get stuff pushed to me from them that I need to take care of, and they can share messages and chat with each other and me but NOT the insurance c

Hi,I am currently visioning kind of an order recognizion plugin which potentially could automatically detect which orders does the conversation consider.Idea behing this is that we currently do add the Message ID of received orders to the order itself while adding it to our ERP. This helps greatly but I’d like to make it even easier and potentially with added possibility to even edit the orders via iFrame element within Front.But to make it happen, I would need to know if it’s even possible to create a plugin with a function to detect multiple Message ID:s from conversation (and then do the math with the data which comes from the ERPs server)?What do yo say? Would it be possible or would you have better ideas? 😊

Hi all, Not sure if this is the correct location for this. I run a Technical Support team and we have inbound via email and WhatsApp as well as Zoho CRM tasks.  Zoho Desk didn’t work out for us as it would not work with custom modules of CRM. We don’t a yet have a developer.  Front looks like it may suit us but we use personal email, shared team inboxes and we also use WhatsApp groups that involve the team but also customers in those groups. Can Front work with WhatsApp groups (as well as 1 to 1 WhatsApps) and Zoho tasks?
