Hello Everyone,  Just wanted to check in if anyone has had experience with connecting MS Forms as a channel.We are exploring the possibility of having Form based data coming in from our users, and since MS Forms is part of our M365 suite, wanted to check if it is recommended, if not, we will explore 3rd party forms to connect instead. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey everyone, I am in need of some assistance.I am currently working on a feature where once an email is sent, we want to assign a specific user to the conversation and also immediately snooze.The good thing, is that both assignment and snoozing works just fine, but… for some weird reason, the newly snoozed email stays in the ‘Open’ tab of my inbox rather than moving into ‘Snoozed’.  When I scroll to the bottom of the conversation, I can also see an orange notification bubble which does confirm that it has been snoozed ⬇️ Is anyone able to help me with this?Kind Regards,Gabor

Hello! I’m currently trying to configure the AI portion of my chatbot. I have set up an external facing knowledge base for the Chatbot to pull from. I have also editing my flow code to incorporate the AI answer feature after open-ended questions as well. However, every time I go to test the feature within the “Preview Mode” the AI Chatbot never produces any answers to my question. Based on this I had a couple of questions: Does the AI feature only work on the User End? Is there another method of testing the AI Chatbot? I would like to see if my knowledge base needs to be updated before making the feature live to my users. 

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to send one of the preconfigured WhatsApp template messages through the mobile App ?I can do this through the web UI but can not seem to find the equivalent on the mobile App. Thank you in advance.George

Hello everyone, In this thread it states that it is not possible to reply to WhatsApp threads with a mimicked template body:  I was wondering what happens in the following scenarios:   a. If I have pre-approved templates for WhatsApp that I can trigger from the UI. Is there a way to trigger them from the API ?   b. If yes, is there a way to reply with one these templates as a follow up to the users answer through the API ? Thank you for your time. - George  

Hi - As of now, we have a Customer Account plugin (which pulls all the info from our database) which can be accessed via the Side Panel but we’re finding we consistently need to navigate further into the Customer Account in order to action a very common request from our Customers. I would like to know if Front is able to accommodate a custom dashboard plugin that displays the necessary tools to action these very common requests from our Customers. Thank you.

Hi Team, I have somebody who's primarily in a different email that is not part of Front and they want to be notified at that different email when something happens regarding them in Front so that they can log in their Front account and address the notification. What is the best setting approach you recommend?  I am looking forward to your response.

We have an app added to Front, and many Front clients can install and start using it. I have set up Application Webhooks for this app. For the app to function properly, our clients need to contact us to set up a corresponding account in our system. As part of the setup process, the user would authorize us through the OAuth flow. When we publish the app, we have a concern that a random user might install the app and, because the app has webhooks enabled, we may start receiving events. In the Front documentation, we have seen the following section in the Webhooks chapter:“OAuth is required for published appsIf your webhook is part of an app that you are publishing on our App Store, you must add OAuth to the app so that customers can authorize that Front events be sent to your webhook from their instance.” We want to make sure we understand correctly that only those instances which have authorized the app through OAuth will send events via webhook.Thank you for your assistance. Best regar

Hey team, How can I use front API to reply to emails using templates which I created in Front ?

Hi,Our team recently started using Front to help triage incoming emails within a shared inbox. We have a set portfolio of customers, and created rules to automatically assign emails to individuals based on the customer name and the @ domain of the originating email. However, there are some customers and business partners that use the same @ domain in their email address so the rules are assigning to the wrong employee or not assigning at all.Has anyone else run into this issue, or know of any additional rules we could put in place to separate multiple accounts that use the same email address?

I am encountering an issue while testing Webhook integration. Despite following the related documentation, I am unable to successfully create a webhook.To facilitate local testing, I am using ngrok. I have set up a path to receive payloads from the webhook and configured it to return the x_front_challenge, 200, {"Content-Type": "text/plain"} as suggested in the documentation. However, I still receive a "Webhook verification failed" error.Here is the relevant portion of my code:I am not encountering any errors within the function itself, so I suspect the issue may be related to the return statement. Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.(I am working on Odoo/Python btw)Thank you. 

Hello everyone!     Our team uses front as an internal ticketing system between contact center agents and us. This could be requests from attendance to volunteer time off. We have the CSAT form implemented in the signature of all our replies. But rarely get responses. Any ideas to improve the use of CSAT surveys from our contact center agents?  Thanks!

Hello everyone!     We have been using front for over a year now, and just realized it had a knowledge base function! We have added multiple types of information and are happy with the finished product. But I am interested in the functionality of the “Knowledge” icon on the plugin bar. Once clicked I see that no KB has been published for our company yet. What is the best way to publish our existing KB, so end users can view content while responding to messages. Do I just have the knowledge base published for only our workspace?  I appreciate the help!

Hello there, I’m not sure if the exposed API has a route that triggers the typing indicator animation seen when typing a messaging in the Chat UI. I’ve seen requests made to `precog/continue/message` that trigger the rendering of the indicator, but I’m not 100% sure. Would love to know if anyone has run into this and how you’ve worked around it. Thanks!

Hello there!Is there any other solution, except for Rules, to update contact custom fields after Form* submission? I need to pass the form’s Extra Fields values to a contact. * - https://help.front.com/en/articles/2024  

When we get a new email with an account we have never seen before and then create the account using the API, why are the contacts not automatically added to this account? We thought that front would sync these automatically based on the email domain? I can see that the account is created and when I select “New Account” I can see the account we created via the API but the contact is not synced. Then in other cases it sometimes works...

Hi! Does anyone have any information on how the auto-tagging works? What is it looking for? We just set Front up and it’s pulling in newsletters under the Sales Response tag.

Would be wonderful if we can track AI usage in the analytics ? We pay for this feature and we have no idea how our colleagues use this new crazy feature. Are you planning this in the roadmap for the coming weeks ?  

Hi everyone,I'm encountering a problem with how Front handles new email addresses from our clients in conjunction with Salesforce.Here’s our setup:We use Salesforce to store all our contacts. These contacts are then imported into Front as shared contacts.The issue arises when:A new client emails us, or an existing client emails from a new email address.Front auto-creates a new contact for this email address.When we update Salesforce with the new email address, it does not merge with the existing shared contact in Front. Instead, it remains as a separate contact.This results in duplicated contacts and can cause confusion within our team.Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!

Hello, we’d like to learn when the best time is to send emails to various people that we’ve communicated with before. Does anyone have tips or scripts on how to do that?All I can think of is to do the following; any other suggestions?Search for all messages for each email address Iterate through each message: “Get message seen status” (which seems to show only the first seen - not sure if there’s any way to see every time it was seen?) Get the message created_at (date at which the message as been sent or received) Compare “seen” and “created_at” to address Apple mail and similar proxy views (i.e. “seen” within 1 minute of open) Disregard or weigh those lower. Then finally process all that info to somehow figure out the best send time by somehow weighting “first seen” in relation to day/time and frequency across all messages with a person.  Not sure best way to “math that out” so to speak? Does that sound about right or is there any better way to do it, or somehow involve AI if

As an admin, can I connect O365 email channels (private inboxes, shared inboxes, and distro lists alike) to Front programmatically through the API without touching the Front UI at all?Use case: a customer is migrating from Gmail to Outlook and making a domain change to all their email addresses, and they’re looking for the best way to reconnect all these channels to Front. If it’s not possible to do this programmatically, will they have to re-connect each channel by hand?

I am constantly asked to stop sending my messages at night.I can choose for each and every message a ‘send later’. But I would like to be able to have a global rule to ask to stop sending messages until xx:xx am. Tt would be possible to bypass this rule for specific messages.
