I need a way to reduce the amount of messages sent to our customer support team.

For that, I want to create a quiz on my website, that answers user questions before they are able to contact me with a contact form.

Only when a certain path thru the quiz is taken, a contact form becomes visible that submits tickets to our Front Inbox.

Do you know a solution for that?

Hi Ben! Unfortunately Front does not offer a pre-screening quiz as you outlined. However, I’m thinking we could build out a rule that helps either

  1. route messages to the correct team or
  2. archive messages automatically that don’t need to be viewed

Is there an issue with spam messages getting through via the form? If so, I would suggest setting up captcha as outlined here: https://help.front.com/en/articles/2024#spam_protection_recaptcha_integration

You can also reach out to our Support Team directly to assist here!

Curious, would this be a good use case for Front Chat with chatbots since you can build out a chatbot flow to accomplish what the quiz does? You could also use AI Answers to try to deflect some of the questions

Javier’s idea of using an AI-enabled Chatbot solution is an excellent idea.  Here are some other options to consider:  Note:  The following options may or may not be available, depending on which website platform and form tool solution(s) you are using.

  • Enable content moderation settings for your forms tool
  • Use AI moderation to enhance content moderation
  • Utilize a Spam Filter plugin for your forms tool
  • Use a Blocking plugin or feature for your website

Implementing these recommendations should drastically reduce the incidence of unwanted form submissions.
