The company mainly uses Copilot since it is well integrated with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc…

It would be easiest for us to deploy an AI agent using Copilot but I am having trouble setting this up with the MCP. Its looking like it may not be possible due to Microsoft only supporting OAuth 2.0 and not 2.1 but I am not knowledgeable enough about auth methods to be sure.

Here is what the MS Apps requires when setting up an MCP connector.

Should I be using the below urls?

auth: https://app.frontapp.com/oauth/authorize

token: https://app.frontapp.com/oauth/token

Hey @roberto_covarrubias,

Regarding the setup in Copilot, we suggest consulting with Microsoft directly for confirmation. All the values you need from our end are in the documentation, so it’s a matter of asking them how they expect to configure an MCP server. We have not been able to test with Copilot, unfortunately.

If you have specific and detailed error information to share, please let us know. It would also be helpful if the Microsoft team provided a recommendation for your configuration based on our docs and reported errors or logs if those occurred.

Let me know if you have any specific follow-ups or errors in the meantime!
