Navigating Auto-Created Customer Contacts

I am wondering if anyone has found an easier way to navigate through the Auto-Created Customer Contacts? At this point, the only option I am seeing is to scroll from top to bottom. Is there currently a more efficient way to search through this list, aside from exporting and filtering?

The contacts module in general is complete rubbish.  I have been complaning about it for 5 years now. No one listens. They’re too busy adding chatbots and things no one needs.

    Hey @cassir

Phoebe here with the Front team.

You can search for a specific contact by using the search bar on the left-hand panel. This will include results in all of your contact sections, including Auto-Created Customer Contacts.

If you’re looking to sort the data specicially in the Auto-Created Contacts tab, you’ll want to export the data. At the moment, we don’t offer the ability to sort the columns.

Let me know if that answers your question!

What I’ve seen some teams do instead is rely more on the search bar or filters tied to conversations (like domain, tags, or inbox) to find people indirectly rather than trying to scroll the full contact list.

Another small workaround is being a bit more intentional with contact fields or tags once a contact becomes important (customer, prospect, VIP, etc.). That way you can filter or search by those instead of digging through the whole auto-created list.
