Hi everyone,

I’m trying to figure out the best way to track performance for users who work across multiple shared inboxes.

In our case, the user have access to analytics in more than one inbox, but reporting is still separated per inbox. I’m looking to understand if there’s a way to get a combined view of metrics like messages sent, reply time, and first response time across all inboxes user works in.

Right now, it seems like the only option is to pull reports seperatly and combine them manually, which isn’t very efficient.

Has anyone found a better way to handle this? Maybe through exports, integrations, or a specific workflow inside Front?

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

You can absolutely get a combined analytics view for teammates who work across multiple shared inboxes—no need to run separate reports for each inbox. Here’s how Front Analytics supports this:

  • Use the Team performance or Workload reports in Analytics to track teammate metrics (like messages sent, reply times, and resolution rates) across any combination of shared inboxes.

  • At the top of Analytics, select your workspace, company, or individual view as needed.

  • The Inboxes filter lets you include up to 30 shared inboxes in a single report. This filter applies to most dashboard sections, except for the Workload by teammate list.

  • You can search for specific teammates within these reports to see their combined activity across all selected inboxes.

  • If you regularly use the same filters or inbox combinations, save your setup as a custom analytics view for quick access in the future.

  • Saved views can be pinned to your dashboard for personal use, making it easy to revisit your preferred cross-inbox teammate reports.

A couple of notes:

  • If a conversation appears in multiple inboxes, it will be counted once per inbox in analytics, so you may see some duplication in metrics when combining inboxes.

  • These combined reports allow you to monitor teammate performance across all relevant inboxes in one place, without needing to export or review each inbox separately.

I’ve included some help articles about these reports for you below!
