Our team has greatly benefitted from the shared drafts feature! Some testimonies below:

    - The ability to sense-check & clarify things with other stakeholders in the context of the actual comms
    - Previously it was too risky forwarding emails and then remembering what needs to be changed in the subject/body of the email

Our team has enjoyed the auto-assign function that Rules provide. We have a team of 17 members, each with an average of 250 customers. We each have our individual email addresses, but all have access to one shared inbox.

We utilized Rules and auto-tagging functions to assign the customer name to each email received based off the email domain the email came from. Front then assigns the email to the appropriate team member based on their account assignment.

This has minimized the amount of manual triaging we used to have to do week over week!

Front has many great Tools built in, but the ones below (used together_ have been crucial for our workflow efficiency.

    • Tags
      • Being able to classify each request, allows for easy identification for the person working on that request.
    • Rules
      • Being able to automate tagging based off of keywords or sender, is a valuable time saver for us.
      • It also allows us to add in Partner specific context in the comment section based on the tag applied.
      • This means whoever opens this request, know exactly what type of request it is.
      • Additionally, we use tags that I call “ID tags” they are simply there to provide more context in the inbox.
      • We also directly link our external knowledge base into the comment section for Partner requests that have Special Notes
    • Salesforce Plugin & Account & Contact Sync
      • Having the ability to integrate pertinent Partner details into our requests and have on hand, saves us from having to navigate between multiple different software.
      • Allows for high visibility into a larger scope at a glance.

The single best tip for Front would be to get everything down to inbox zero. That is a life saver.

My single best tip in Front is to learn keyboard shortcuts in the program! I am a sucker for keyboard shortcuts, and Front does not disappoint. I would highly encourage exploring these and familiarizing yourself and your team with these.

    Hey Alysha,

One small change that’s made a huge difference for me: setting my default send function to “Send & archive.”

I used to manually archive every message after sending—basically just sitting there waiting for the send to complete, then clicking Archive. Once I switched the default behavior, it streamlined my workflow and helped me trust Front to handle inbox organization automatically.

I love this question and am curious of others, so great to see everyone’s favorite.

By far my favorite is the Snooze option, as I am always trying to complete each request and sometimes it’s just not possible, but I don’t want to move it to it’s folder before it’s completed or loose in my the rush of the day. So the Snooze feature is amazing, because I can have it pop back up at a certain day or time - which is really helpful when I’m meetings or working through service requests.
