So far I see only one discussion on desktop vs browser, so I am here to ask if there is a resource to give a full comparison on the differences between the two. I notice the training course deals with the web browser and I am curious how the behavior differs when creating tags. in the browser there are toggles to show in conversation and allow all inboxes. alternatively the desktop only gives an option to specify teammates that can use the tags. allowing all does not seem to be achievable efficiently. so where can i read on the distinction between applications?

Hi Chris,

TL;DR - they’re the same.

The biggest difference is that the Desktop app has more hotkey shortcut support than the browser version. Outside of that, they both offer the same functionality; there’s nothing you can do in one that you can not do in the other.

I don’t see the `My Private` on the left panel when using the app on MacOS. But, shows on browser. So, I moved back to the browser.

Can you ensure you’ve expanded the Open section? That preference is device specific.

Yea, that was it. Wow, how did I not notice that.

So yes, `assigned to me`, `subscribed`, and `My Private` are indeed in the Front Mac app. Thanks! I gave up on the App for a while, but was sad because hot keys are the jam for productivity.

Thanks @jason
