Can Front use SMS and Whatsapp from Twilio with the same phone number?

These integrations are great but could someone explain why the same phone number cannot be used for both SMS and Whatsapp through Twilio?

    Hi Jon!

    This isn’t currently possible in Front, as the phone number is used as the channel identifier, and SMS and Whatsapp are two different channel types in Front. This is definitely something that would be a great feature request, however! In fact, there’s an existing request available for it already here that you should be able to add your vote to: https://front.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PRD-I-4227
