I’ve noticed a couple of limitations in Front Calendar and was curious if others have found effective workarounds while these features are still in development:

  1. Cancellation Notes: Currently, when deleting a meeting, there’s no built-in option to send a cancellation message. I’ve been manually notifying attendees via email before removing the event, simple enough, but not ideal.

  2. Co-Organizer Functionality: Since Front doesn’t support assigning co-organizers, I’ve been using Teams or Outlook to set that up, which then requires managing changes through those platforms. It works, but adds a layer of complexity.

If anyone has discovered a more streamlined approach or temporary solution, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Always open to learning from how others are navigating this.

Hey V_J!

Annie from Front’s Support Team here. These are great questions.

  1. Cancellation Notes: when deleting a calendar event through Front, you should see a pop up window confirming your delete request, with the option to enable/disable an “email guests” feature, informing them of the cancelation.

  2. Co-Organizer Functionality: I do agree that this would be a great addition! In fact, I encourage you to submit a request for it at this link.

This feature submission form is linked to our Product Ideas Portal which is accessible to all users. When features are submitted, they are listed in the Ideas Portal and can be upvoted by other Front customers who may want the same feature to improve their team's workflows. You'll receive an email update if your feature is developed and shipped!

Most of the improvements you see to Front come from ideas and suggestions like yours, so thank you for making Front even better!

I hope this information is helpful!
