Best practices for new Front users

Lean on snooze to keep your inbox manageable. If a conversation isn't something that needs action right now, snoozing it clears it out of the way and brings it back to the top at the time you choose, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Set up message templates for anything that gets typed repeatedly. They give you a solid starting point and save a lot of time, and there's always room to personalize before sending.

Tag conversations consistently from the start. A simple, well-organized set of tags makes it much easier to find things later, and it lays the groundwork for automating tasks down the line.

Wait a couple of weeks before diving into rules. Once you've noticed the repetitive parts of your workflow, it's much clearer what's worth automating, and rules become far more powerful when they're built around real patterns.

Use comments and mentions instead of forwarding conversations around. Looping teammates in directly within a thread keeps all the context in one place, which makes collaboration a lot smoother.

And once you're settled in, take a look at the analytics. Even a quick glance at things like response times and volume can highlight where the workflow is getting stuck.

Even just getting used to archiving and snoozing straight from the keyboard, without reaching for the mouse, made a real difference once my inbox got busy.
