One of Front’s strengths is its flexibility, which means we have a lot of different teams using Front in different ways. Deciding the right “defaults” is always a challenge for this reason, but the way the sidebar is organized represents the most common ways of using Front.

In addition to the reordering of your individual workspace, we have updated it so that Views and Pinned Tags sections only display if you have a view or tag selected. If not, these sections will be automatically hidden to save space.

However, we know how critical the sidebar is for your efficiency. We’d like to support more sidebar customization like reordering, and it’s something we’re exploring for future improvements.
