Accessing Settings and Workspaces Now Requires More Steps

Since the recent UI update, getting to Settings and Workspaces feels a bit slower and less intuitive. What used to be a single-click action now takes a few extra steps, which can make workflows that require frequent switching or quick checks feel a little clunky.

Workspace Switching Can Be Tricky

Before, switching between workspaces was simple and fast. With the new interface, I’ve noticed it’s a bit more cumbersome. For example:

  1. I select Workspace A

  2. Open Rules

  3. Switch to the Company Workspace to compare settings

  4. When I try to go back to Workspace A, even though it’s visible in the list, I have to manually reselect it

Because of this, I sometimes end up duplicating tabs in my browser just to keep things accessible.

Impact on Daily Work

Each extra click might seem small on its own, but over a day—especially for those managing multiple workspaces—the added steps can slow down routine tasks. The previous layout made switching and comparing workspaces much smoother.

A way to quickly jump between workspaces, or to retain the last active workspace when returning, would make navigation much easier and reduce the extra effort in daily workflows.

That has been a pain point for me as well. I think this redesign is more focused on the inbox, but I'd love to see the settings area updated as well. It's definitely a lot more work when you're managing an entire company of workspaces.

While we won’t be making changes to settings with this current work, I definitely understand the need to easily navigate across workspaces. I’ll follow up with the team to share this feedback.

Hi @conniechen

Would it be possible to move the Settings icon from the bottom of the left panel to the top with the other icons?

In the new beta version, everything else was moved together except this one. Previously, we had access to it from two places — now only one — and having it separated from the rest makes navigation a bit less convenient.
