We’re working on a fresh UI for our mobile app, carrying over the information architecture and styling of our desktop and web experience. This means more consistency and parity as you move throughout your day with Front.

What’s coming?

  • A refreshed inbox layout to help you move through your conversations efficiently
  • Inbox filters so you can quickly find what you need
  • The ability to create tasks to track and assign work on the go

Here’s what it looks like:

 

 

This experience is not yet available to try, but we’ll update you when it is. For now, please download the relevant test app linked in the sidebar of this group. These test apps provide all of the functionality of the regular apps, with the added benefit of being able to try out new features as they’re released.

 

So what do you think? Some guiding questions to get you started:

  • What is missing from the mobile app that is preventing you from using it more today?
  • In what ways, if any, do you expect this new design to impact your mobile app usage moving forward?

For my team since we are Front administrators I would want to see admin features such as adding and removing users from workspaces/inboxes and at minimum enabling and disabling rules.

Nice! love where you guys are headed with the revamp of the mobile app. Below is

  • Abiliyt to use macros to accelerate our workflows on the go
  • Ask your knowledge base feature on mobile app

That's all I can think of for now. : )

What is missing from the mobile app that is preventing you from using it more today?

Macros, macros, macros. With most of our workflow working off of macros, the app as is, doesn’t allow us to work on the go. Implementing macros would be a huge productivity boost!

For corporate security compliance, we need the ability to manage the Front mobile app from an Intune MDM deployment. This would allow us to invite all our employees to use Front’s mobile app on their personal devices, since we could containerize it within an Intune MDM package.

Message Templates!  Really rough not having access to those on mobile. 

Dark mode would be nice, too. :)
