I have tried all trouble shooting such as clearing cache on keyboard.  I redownloaded Front.  Only app with the issue so its not an Android or keyboard issue.

when typing a “comment” the keyboard covers the commenting which is very annoying.  What glitch is this and how can I fix it?

@abraham could you let us know which iOS device you are using, what operating system version you are on, and what version of Front you have downloaded?

iOS 16.1, iPhone 16 Pro Max — I’m currently using beta version 5.74.0, but I’m not sure where I encountered the keyboard overlapping issue. It happened only once and recently, but I’m not sure if it was before or after I installed the beta app.

Thanks for the additional details @abraham  - does this mean it doesn’t reproduce every time for you? (Like sometimes the keyboard does not overlap/is correct)

Hello!

I’m Roy, a developer at Front that’s doing the follow up on this issue.

We've been investigating this issue today, but we haven’t been able to reproduced on emulated devices nor physical devices, and don't see and obviously related code change that would cause this specific behavior.

We are continuing to search for the root cause, but in the meantime could use help identifying the issue:

  • Are you able to reproduce this behavior 100% of the time?
    • Yes: could you send a recording of the behavior to support@front.com?
    • No: any details on when it seems to happen would be appreciated if you've noticed any patterns (like operating system version changes, for example migrating to iOS 26 / Android 16).
  • Which version of Front did you start noticing this issue?
  • For Android users:
    • Do you have any special keyboard features, like a stylus drawing or toolbar enabled?

Thank you!

Hello @abraham !

Are you able to re-install the previous app version, either via TestFlight or the AppStore, and confirm if this is an issue on the previous version as well?

Thank you!

Hello!

For all Android users, this issue should be fixed on the latest build.

To confirm you are on the latest version with the fix, you should see this information at the bottom of your settings page (matching the attached image at the bottom):

Version: Front 5.74.0 - (50000271)

The difference with the previous version is the 1 at the end, instead of a 0.

For iOS users still experiencing this issue consistently, please send us a recording and your steps to reproducing the behavior as well as your device / version details to support@front.com

Thank you for notifying us of this issue!
