Variable in signatures using CoreAPI to send messages

Hello,
When using the Core API to create a new conversation and signature has dynamic variables such as {{user.name}}, it appears that it does not populate with the user name and just sends exactly that text {{user.name}}

Is this a bug?
If yes do you have some time line then it will be fixed?

Thanks for reaching out. The signature variables prefixed with user don’t appear to get replaced with their corresponding values when sending a message and has been identified as a bug by our engineers. 

While I do not have a definitive timeline on when the fix will be released, the good news is that it is currently being worked on by our engineers and is awaiting final reviews. 

I’ll keep an eye on its progress and try to provide an update on it here once released.
