I created an API key: https://app.frontapp.com/settings/developers/tokens

I use that API key to create an email

Sometime that email is assigned to that API key like it’s a teammate, but sometime it doesn’t. I didn’t even knew that we could assign a conversation to an API key.

I expect that email to be assigned to no one.

Hi! This issue was caused by a bug that we have since fixed. So you should no longer see conversations assigned to the API bot user.

We don’t see that issue appears anymore. It was only between the 10th of may and the 12.


This does align with when the issue was patched. You should no longer see this issue occurring! However, if you do notice it creep back up please let us know.
