Question

Keeping Front Knowledge Base articles in sync with docs maintained in Notion

Hi all,

We write and review our internal IT documentation in Notion (draft → review → publish).
We'd like Front's Knowledge Base to be where people actually read it, but copy-pasting
every article after each revision doesn't scale.

Has anyone automated publishing from Notion (or another source) into a Front KB,
via the API, n8n/Zapier, or something else? How do you handle updates to existing
articles and FR/EN versions?

Thanks!

Hi Diogo,

While I don’t have suggestions on a specific workflow to handle this, I just want to let you know that we do have an endpoint for knowledge base artifacts (https://dev.frontapp.com/reference/knowledge-bases) that you can use via our API, and you can potentially connect a third party software like n8n or Zapier to perhaps do something like:

1.) Article published in Notion
2.) Send details of article to n8n
3.) Use the create article endpoint to create a knowledge base article within Front

A similar workflow can be done if any updates are made to the Notion page as well with our PATCH endpoints. I hope this helps a bit, and please let me know if you have any further questions!
