New in Front - Tips&Experience

I work at a logistic company, where we handle a lot of communication with customers and carriers every day.

Since front is designed to make team communication easier, I wanted to ask:

How do you use front to stay organized and avoid missing important messages during busy days at work?

I’d love to hear your experiences or tips!

Thanks!

Hi Daniela! For a high-volume environment like logistics, a few habits tend to make a big difference in staying organized and making sure nothing slips through:

Use rules to automatically route and prioritize incoming messages. Sorting conversations by type, like customer inquiries versus carrier updates, or flagging anything urgent as it arrives, means the important stuff surfaces on its own instead of getting buried on a busy day.

Tag consistently so you can filter quickly. A clear set of tags for things like shipment status, priority, or issue type makes it easy to pull up exactly what you need when the volume is high.

Lean on snooze and reminders so nothing falls off your radar. If something can't be handled right now, snoozing it brings it back to the top at the right time, and reminders help you follow up on messages that are waiting on someone else.

Consider setting time goals for responses. They help keep an eye on how quickly conversations are being answered, which is useful when you're managing a lot of time-sensitive communication with both customers and carriers.

Use comments and mentions to loop teammates in directly. Keeping the discussion inside the conversation means everyone has the full context, which helps avoid dropped handoffs when several people are involved in the same shipment or issue.

Keep your inbox to zero where you can by archiving or snoozing as you go. On busy days, an inbox that only shows what still needs attention makes it far easier to spot what's genuinely important.

Hope some of these help, and best of luck with the busy days!

Hi Daniela!
Here are some ideas:
1. Make sure your notifications are enabled (for mentions, new messages, and assignments so nothing slips through the cracks).
2. Use snoozes to reopen conversations automatically if you're waiting on reply and need to follow-up (this is one I rely on often!)

3. SLA rules can fire warnings and breach alerts internally to keep the team prioritizing the right conversations.
4. Leverage tags to flag urgent inquiries that should be dealt with first. You can also route messages to a specific inbox labeled “urgent” and work out of that first.

Hope this helps!
