At Front we’re constantly looking for ways to improve our product, and direct feedback from customers is one of the key influences on our product roadmap. The ideas portal below is the best way to share product feedback with our product team.

Guidelines for submitting Ideas:

  • Be sure to search for similar ideas that have already been posted. This helps to avoid duplicates and will save you time from typing out a new Idea. You can comment on an existing Idea to add additional details that would be helpful for our team to consider.
  • Be as detailed as possible: when describing your idea, please provide as much detail as possible, including example use cases and why the feature would be valuable to you. This helps our product team better understand the potential impact of your idea.
  • Submit one idea at a time: this makes it easier for our product team to review and track the progress of each idea.

When you first submit an idea, it may take some time before the idea is made visible for others to vote on. We receive a lot of ideas, so depending on the team’s bandwidth, it may take longer than expected for an idea to be processed. Rest assured that it eventually will be!

Ideas are oftentimes shortened when made available for others to vote, but rest assured that the full detail you provide is preserved in our system to guide our Product team as they design solutions.

Our product team reviews submitted ideas on a weekly basis, and you’ll automatically receive an email notification when an Idea you have created or voted on is added to the product.

Thank you for your contributions to the Front ideas portal! We look forward to hearing your ideas and working together to make Front even better.

Hi everybody!

I was hoping that an sla applies metric could be added to the ‘https://api2.frontapp.com/analytics/reports’ path that works similar to the num_sla_breach metric.

Essentially, I want to get the same number as the SLA Applies column that’s within the SLA Details Section of the SLA Reports section of the Desktop App. (image at bottom with desired data highlighted)

That SLA Applies number is only counted after the SLA’s time limit has expired which I’m basing off of this article (https://help.front.com/t/x2hz4m7/slas-reports).

We’re trying to integrate this email communication performance data into our existing performance reports, but that number is the only one that is not easily obtainable through the API.

Thanks!

Hi @jorge.lopez.jetdel!

Thanks for partnering with us to improve Front. Would you mind submitting your post as an idea at https://community.front.com/ideas? That way our Product team can evaluate it.

@Javier - Developer Relations got it!  It didn’t load for me earlier so I thought this was where you posted them 😅. My mistake

All good!
