When customers receive my emails a text is displayed under my signature “Sent from Front”.

Is there an option to remove it?

Hi @barnabas

Thanks for reaching out about this. This is not a specific setting but rather a likely result of the default signature. Could you confirm if creating a custom signature resolves the issue?

If not, it’s possible that it may be the alt-text on the tracking pixel. If you are still noticing it after creating a signature and ensuring that it is not contained in the body of it when composing it, please reach out to our support team directly where we can review personal examples to better determine what you are seeing on your end.

Justin

Hello Justin,

I have a custom signature that I’m using and while using Front I never see any text “Sent from Front” after the signature.

However, I happened to login on Outlook (I’m using Microsoft 365 email) to check something and I opened a past email conversation that took place using Front and I noticed that my emails after my signature have this text. I don’t know if this is actually visible to the person who receives the email but since I’m seeing it on my side, I suppose that it is also visible to the other person as well.

Could you please shed some light to what is actually happening?

Kind regards,

Barnabas

Hi @barnabas

Thanks for the update. I was able to confirm that this is due to the tracking pixel that is placed in the message for the ability to track sent emails.

Email tracking is a feature that allows you to see whether your customer has viewed the message you've sent them. In order to track emails, we use an invisible tracking pixel in your outbound messages to determine whether a message has been viewed.

This setting is located within your channel’s settings and can be disabled, if desired. Please note, doing so would stop this pixel from appearing with the message and you would loose the functionality of tracking seen receipts. This alt text appears when the image is blocked from loading by the receiving mail client.

Hopefully this helps provide some additional insight and an option to remove it, if desired.

Best,
Justin
