Hi guys!

Some of our rules have stopped working. Any idea why this might be, and how to restore their functionality?

Hi Lindsey!

Sorry to see you’re having some issues with your rule set up in Front. Please could you kindly reach out to us directly via our contact form so we can work together to resolve this?

Thanks so much! :)

Hi @lindsey_biggs , I had this happen to me before! I suggest checking the rule to see if the stop processing other rules box is checked (screenshot below). It’s at the bottom of each rule.

For me, this was the reason my other rules weren’t executing as planned. Let me know if this helps!

@shauna_proctor I reached out yesterday and am still waiting for a response.

@april.lackpour Thank you for the response! that box isn’t checked for any of my rules. Should it be checked?

Hi @lindsey_biggs that’s good then! If one of the rules have that box checked, the rules that follow will not be processed (is my understanding).

It sounds like you are having a different issue, I hope the support team can help from here!

Lindsey, did you set up any new rules that might clash with the existing ones? Just a heads-up, the order of your rules matters since earlier rules can interfere with the ones that come later. For example, if rule #1 conflicts with rule #5, it could prevent rule #5 from functioning properly.

Hi @makayla ! Thank you for your response!

No, unfortunately they were the same rules that were working fine before and just stopped working.

I’m still chatting to support but we haven’t found a resolution yet.

Do you have an example of the rule and where it did not apply correctly?
