With dynamic objects can I link an ID that is not part of the link?

Hi!

Justin here with the support engineering team 👋

With Dynamic Objects using a URL pattern, a combination of static and dynamic values may be used.

For example:

As you can see here, the ID does not have to be explicitly provided as part of the link but should match the specified pattern you provide. As a result, yes, you could have an ID be dynamic in the URL. More on this here: https://help.front.com/en/articles/2002#option_2_url_pattern.
