"Launched" Status for Ideas - When do 'Launched' Ideas become 'Already Available?' & appear in Front?

When do “Launched” Ideas become 'Already Available?'


I received an email from Front, regarding the status of an Idea that had its status changed to ‘Launched.’ (See Below)  The status ‘Launched’ does not appear in the list of “what each idea status means.”

When do “Launched” ideas become available in our Front instance?  Do we have access to a calendar of upcoming releases?  it would be helpful to know in advance of new features going live, so that Administrators could become familiar with them and appropriate training be made available/created for end users.

Hi! Thanks for pointing this out.

So Launched is a status we change to when we actually ship a feature that was suggested via the Product Portal. With that said, we’re going to update the template shown in your screenshot to include the Launched status as it appears we left that one out. Sorry about that!

As for advanced notice of features going live, the best options we have at the moment are the Product Roadmap webinar and the 'in the works' tab on https://community.front.com/ideas.

So Launched is a status we change to when we actually ship a feature that was suggested via the Product Portal. With that said, we’re going to update the template shown in your screenshot to include the Launched status as it appears we left that one out. Sorry about that!

    I’m guessing it might be worthwhile to submit the ‘Launch Calendar’ & Notification Subscription” idea to the https://community.front.com/ideas portal, right!? 💡

      You’re correct. I don’t believe we are currently hosting these at this time. So right now the best way to stay in touch with what’s on our roadmap would be the ‘In the Works’ tab on within our Ideas portal.
