We have found in the past that the PC App can be a bit buggy or have issues with updating in our highly restrictve enviroment due to lack of user permissions.
Can someone clafify the use case for PC app over the WebApp as the WebApp does everythign I can see.
Cheers,

Hi Eugene, great question!
You are correct that Front’s browser-based web app contains all the same functionalities as the downloadable Desktop App
I would say that the differences between the two lie more in terms of general usage.
Some of the notable differences would be:
- Slight variations in Keyboard Shortcuts
- Troubleshooting tools specific to the Desktop App
- Download location
- Cache clearing
- and being able to set Front as your Default Email client
There are a various use cases where using one option over another makes sense, but both are perfectly suitable depending on your team’s internal set up and general preference
I hope this helps!
Luke
