Hi Front Community! As someone who is new to using Front, I have seen that one of the primary benefits of using Front is that people have the option to link many different platforms that are used for customer service applications. As a result, is there any benefit for linking my personal inbox to Front. I do apologize if this is a stupid question, but am just looking to get some clarification on this topic.

This is a really good question! We do see most people link their personal email to Front so that they do not need to go back and forth between Front and their native email provider.

That way if you are working / checking emails all day, you will just be able to stay in Front and see both your personal emails as well as messages that come into the other inboxes :)

Thank you for your response! As someone who likes to simplify things in life, I will definitely take advantage of being able to merge my personal inbox into Front. 


As Shree says, it’s extremely useful for your personal inbox (as long as it doesn’t break any company policies)

I have multiple on mine both work/personal and it saves me a ton of time having to drop in/out of browsers checking.


I just had this questions. I’m glad to know that people do link their personal work emails and not just shared inboxes. I have some use cases where that would make much more sense for certain teams.
