I’ve got an Inbox, with the Twilio-WhatsApp channel defined. In Twilio, I want to have it configured to call a webhook when a message arrives. The format of the webhook is https://webhook.frontapp.com/sms/<something>.  My question is: where does the URL come from?

Hi brian_smith,

When creating a new Twilio or Twilio-WhatsApp channel in Front, we generate a unique, secure webhook for incoming messages.  This is unique for every channel created and you’ll use it when configuring WhatsApp senders’ webhook URLs:

https://help.front.com/t/q5ck1k/how-to-set-up-a-twilio-whatsapp-inbox-in-front#part-3-updating-your-webhook-configuration-in-twilio

We only set this webhook in Twilio’s configuration at the time of channel creation.  If for some reason you’ve lost your webhook URL, please don’t use another channel’s webhook.  Instead, contact support@front.com and we can provide it!

Thanks, Evan, I did just as you said, and the Webhook URL worked perfectly!

Regards,

Brian
