Hi,

We recently adopted Front for our Sales Team but the CRM we use, Copper, does not have a native integration. I was told that we could use Zapier to create connections between the two systems but unfortunately, it appears that most of the functionality exists only in shared or team inboxes.

Upon exploring further, there does seem to be an available API connection via Webhooks by Zapier. Can you help shed light on this?

Happy to answer any questions that I can regarding our Zapier integration and use of webhooks. If you haven't seen it yet, here's a great article over enabling and using the Zapier integration.

This should help you get started in the right direction; however, your concern about individual inboxes would be correct. When choosing Front as an app from within Zapier, you are limited to the team level. There is another option with the 'Webhooks by Zapier' app option.

This option will provide you with a webhook URL to place in a rule within Front. For example:

When the conditions of the Front rule are met, the event data will be sent to the Zapier webhook for you to do with what you desire. While I'm not familiar with, nor have access to Copper, you should be able to either connect Copper directly in Zapier and take the actions on the received payload or you could have Zapier post a request to a Copper API endpoint. As for which option is best (or which of their endpoints to use), this may be best to consult with any technical members of your team or the Copper team itself.

If you have any specific questions regarding the Front API, please let me know!
